The people of Africa in general and of Cameroon in particular are still coming in the limelight with regards to the consumption of healthy comedy. While some argue that comedy is just another profession, some health experts hold the view that laughter actually can increase your life span (one reason to come for Ngwane Hansel’s next show!). To them, laughter reduces stress, and contributes to the absence of cardio-vascular malfunctions like heart attacks and heart failures.
Stress, which is often present in everyday life, is a leading factor of premature deaths in our society. We worry over stuff like food, money, employment and WOMEN. Yes. WOMEN. In the end, we are left with high blood pressure, hypertension and other stress-related illness that only help us worry more, thereby further worsening our situation.
